Full BIO: JR Orlando is a producer, fundraiser, and founder of the “Stage to Screen” project by RTO Productions. She is a one-woman force out to save the stage with the small screen. JR has 45 years of experience in producing, acting, literary management, and theatre management, most notably with Northside Theatre Company and San Jose Repertory Theatre. She earned an Associate of Arts degree from San Jose City College, and is also a professional bookkeeper and an ordained minister.

When she’s not saving the theatre, JR spins yarn on a spinning wheel, practices Kundalini Yoga, and is active in the Community of Christ where she ministers, manages their community garden, and provides services to local unhoused neighbors.
